Christopher S. Dorment - Chairman and owner of The Rocky Gorge Group of companies since its inception in the early seventies, Chris brings a unique vision and background as an attorney and a family pedigree in the building industry to every project Rocky Gorge Development undertakes. Moreover, for over ten years Chris served as Chairman of Victory Housing, the defacto housing agency for the Archdiocese of Washington with a focus on housing for the elderly. After building and operating 12 facilities in the area, Victory Housing was recognized as Non-Profit Developer of The Year in 2003.
John W. Anderson - With over 30 years of experience, Jack is the Chief Acquisition and Development Officer for the company. Jack is a recognized industry leader, having been published and quoted in industry journals. He has demonstrated the capacity to locate, acquire, entitle and develop real estate and has lead the Rocky Gorge acquisition team over the past seven years. This has resulted in a significant number of highly profitable and creative land transactions. Previously, Jack represented owners in complex multi-family and commercial property transactions. Jack holds both a Masters degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
Peter B. Knudsen - CFO for Rocky Gorge Development. He has 26 years of experience working in the real estate industry and brings a broad range of real estate development, management and finance experience to the company, having served in similar positions for Metropolitan Washington area residential and commercial builders and developers, and as a public accountant serving the industry. Pete received his BS from Old Dominion University, and is a CPA as well as a licensed insurance broker with expertise in Surety products, and bonding matters related to subdivision bond issuance and release.
